CHANGES TO TOUR ITINERARY

Because tour arrangements are made some months in advance it is possible that certain slight changes to an itinerary might be necessary. These changes may only be minor and the organisers will notify everyone as soon as possible. However, if significant alterations are required, e.g., changes to date or point of departure, ultimate destination and location/quality of the main hotel, or a major change to the tour itinerary which reduces the quality of the tour, participants are free to continue with the tour with the revised itinerary or accept the offer of an alternative tour of similar value. Alternatively, bookings may be cancelled in return for a full refund.

In the event of a significant change that results in a cancellation the organisers will, in addition to a refund, offer compensation as stated for the period before departure within which a significant change is notified.

Compensation per person: more than one month £0; less than one month £15; less than seven days £20.

REPATRIATION

Once a tour starts participants will be in possession of the return train ticket. Refer to the section marked insurance to ensure adequate 24-hour emergency cover.

DELAYS

The organisers cannot be held responsible for unforeseen delays to a journey or train crossings (to or from the UK). In the event of a delay participants will be responsible for providing their own meals, travel and accommodation.

TRANSFER OF BOOKING

If a person, for any reason, is unable to travel he/she may transfer the booking to a third party. In such cases at least two weeks notice should be given and the changes will be subject to an administration fee of £25.

Also the organisers cannot be responsible for some amenities being affected by weather conditions or mechanical breakdowns.

The organisers make every effort to ensure that the correct arrangements have been made and that the suppliers of the services that go to making a holiday enjoyable are efficient and reputable.
